Umweltgerechtigkeit aus umweltepidemiologischer Sicht Gabriele Bolte Zusammenfassung Abstract The impact of socioeconomic factors has increasingly received attention in the area of environmental health during the past years. This can be traced back to the international discussion of environmental justice, to the fact that socioeconomic factors have been increasingly considered in analyses from a methodological point of view to improve significance in the field of environmental epidemiology, and to new multilevel conceptual frameworks for instance in the area of social position, housing, and health. In this article, current explanations for social inequalities in environmental health are described from an environmental epidemiologists point of view, the relationship to the debate on environmental justice is outlined and perspectives for action are presented. umwelt-medizin-gesellschaft 19(3): 181-186 |
